m-cult programme for 2020 continues to focus on changing global and local contexts. Within the Online Imaginaries theme, our attention shifts towards new economic and organisational imaginaries with the Money Lab Helsinki event in collaboration with Economic Space Agency ECSA and the EMAP residency Viral Fictions with Forms of Ownership. Running in parallel, the Maunula Collaborations programme focuses on co-creating local spaces of collectivity.
Locally embedded and online productions are meaningful to m-cult due to their collaborative potential and ecological sustainability. By developing these practices further in the corona pandemic landscape of 2020 we hope to overcome social distances in a post-crisis world.
