New manual: Open media production

The new manual on Open media production is a guidebook on producing video programs for the web.

The manual is inspired by experiences from the Open media workshops which m-cult has offered for various groups and communities since 2010. It is based on practices of web and community media publishing, a light and rapid production model, as well as free / open software, content and licences.

The publication of the manual coincides with the 10th anniversary of Wikipedia. In this decade, we expect to witness the move of video practices  to  the landscape of open publishing and collaborative production, of which Wikipedia is the best known example.
