The Robin Hood Asset Management Cooperative started in 2012 as an 'investment bank for the precariat', an alternative hedge fund for supporting independent projects. The cooperative has funded commons-based initiatives and inspired its 850 international members into the future of autonomous organizations.
In 2020, the cooperative will transform into a platform for the crypto finance of the commons by building a collective tool for horizontal projects and resources management within distributed networks. Based on Ethereum blockchain, the new platform offers cooperative shares in the form of peer to peer exchangeable crypto tokens.
