myfutures.trade is an online game developed by eeefff group for “futures trading” within a community of teenagers.
In a workshop at the youth house, the participants shared their future goals and invested in each others dreams. The game evolved on the myfutures.trade platform, created by eeefff using blockchain and other online technologies of collaboration.
The workshop involved discussions and hands-on experience on the workings of the financial system as well as techniques of remaining anonymous online.
The myfutures.trade platform was first developed for the Barents Festival in Kirkenes in early 2017.
The project was commissioned and co-produced by m-cult in May 2017 in context of the Collaborative Arts Partnership Programme, supported by the Creative Europe programme.
